LTG AEROB® Air Engineering GmbH DIVISION AEROB has supplied a total of 27 filter units with filter areas from 14 to 120 m2 to the new factory of an American animal feed manu-facturer in the Czech Republic.

For the production of animal feed, the same hygienic standards are required as for the production of human food. Some of the supplied AEROB filters were equipped with explosion suppression. In case of an imminent explosion, which is detected with a pressure indicator, a pressure cylinder sprays an extinguishing agent into the filter’s interior. This causes the oxygen to be extracted, and thus the explosion to be suppressed. The filter housing absorbs the reduced explosion pressure (0.5 bar in this case).

AEROB has supplied this company with filter technology before – in the 90s, for a factory in the Netherlands. Because of the longevity of the prod-ucts, the convincing price/performance ratio, the quality and delivery reliability, the client decided to once again work with the renowned company from Renningen for the Czech location. And the next project for the American client is already under way: 27 filters will soon be shipped to the USA.
